JIS G3456: Carbon Steel Pipes for High Temperature ServiceStandard: JIS G3456
We mainly supply various grades of high pressure steel pipes, such as STPT 370, STPT 410 and STPT 480.
Applications JIS G3456 high pressure carbon steel pipes are extensively used for pressure service, high pressure service and high temperature service. They are typically used in the piping with high working pressure and with the temperature of below 350℃. This high pressure steel pipe is also utilized in boiler, electric power, machinery, gas tank, chemical engineering, offshore and petroleum engineering, etc.
Size Range of JIS G3456 Carbon Steel Pipe- Outer dimension is from 19.05 mm to 114.3 mm.
- Wall thickness of this high pressure steel pipe ranges from 2.0 mm to 14 mm.
- The maximum length is 16000 mm.
- JST has three sets of advanced hydrostatic press to test the compactness of steel pipes. We can judge whether there exists leakage phenomenon of this carbon steel pipe through naked eyes or pressure drop. The maximum test pressure reaches 120Mpa, which meets the requirements of high pressure steel pipes.
- We can provide ultrasonic flaw detection test or eddy current inspection, and also provide relevant inspection reports.
- JST can also do nondestructive inspection for G3456 carbon steel pipes. We will get rid of disqualified high pressure steel pipes and ensure that we are able to supply boiler, superheater and heat-exchanger pipes with stable performance and high quality.
- For the surface defects, JST professional inspection personnel will do polishing, removal, repair and a series of processes based on their specific characteristics. These processes are carried out in accordance with standards. After treatment, inspectors will do a second inspection for carbon steel pipes. They also measure the wall thickness of high pressure steel pipes and make their performance more stable.
Packaging We package our products in bare, bundles, crates or crate protection at the both sides of tubes. We can also package products as per customers' requirements.

Note:
1. For the high pressure steel pipes with the thickness of less than 8 mm, we use NO.12 or NO.5 sample for tensile test. The minimum elongation will be reduced by 1.5% from the table value when the thickness reduces 1 mm. The value obtained will be rounded to an integer value according to JIS Z8401 (a rounding method).
2. The above elongation is not applicable for the carbon steel pipes with the outer diameter of equal or less than 40 mm. This must be recorded.
3. When we take the electric resistance welded steel pipes for tensile test, we also choose NO.12 or NO.5 sample from the parts not containing welding seams. For the high pressure steel pipes with the thickness of less than 8 mm, we use the elongation of NO.12 sample (longitudinal) or NO.5 sample (transverse) to calculate.
