Description ASTM A213 or ASME SA213 seamless tube is applicable to seamless ferritic and austenitic pipes with the minimum thickness in boiler and superheater. It is typically used as heating surface pipe, boiler header (collection box) and steam pipe in low and medium pressure boilers (The working pressure is not more than 9.8 MPa and the working temperature is between 450℃ and 650℃.), economizer, superheater, reheater, etc. This seamless steel pipe is widely applied in heat exchanger, condenser and heat transfer equipment.

  • Size Control
  • The inside diameter of JST seamless steel pipes for boiler, superheater or heat exchanger is 1/8in (3.2 mm), outside diameter 5in (127 mm) and the minimum wall thickness is from 0.015 to 0.500in. (0.4 mm to 12.7 mm). ASTM A213/ASME SA213 also sets the allowable dimension deviation for boiler, superheater and heat exchanger seamless tube. JST advanced rolling process can effectively reduce the deviation range and make the size of seamless steel pipe more accurate.   • Hydraulic Pressure Test
  • JST possesses three advanced hydrostatic equipment to test the density of seamless tubes. We can find out whether seamless steel pipe leaks out from the inside wall to the outside wall by naked eyes or through pressure drop. The maximum test pressure is up to 120 Mpa, which can meet the water pressure test requirements for boiler, superheater and heat exchanger seamless tubes.
  • Inspection
  • We can do nondestructive inspections for seamless steel pipes according to customers' requirements. JST configures advanced inspection machines that provide magnetic flux leakage inspection, magnetic particle testing, eddy current testing, ultrasonic testing, and so on. We remove test failed seamless tubes promptly to ensure to provide customers with boiler, superheater and heat exchanger seamless steel pipes with stable performance and high quality.
  • Manufacture
  • In accordance with the requirements of customers, our company can supply pipes for boiler, superheater and heat exchanger adopting hot-trimming and cold finishing.
