Standards for Structural Steel Pipe: ASTM A53 and ASME SA53

We mainly produce various grades of structural steel tubes, such as A53A, A53B, SA53A and SA53B.

Applications
  • Structural tube is often used in general structure and mechanical structure.
  • Structural steel pipe can be used for manufacturing pipeline, vessel, equipment, pipe fittings and mechanical structured seamless steel tubes.
  • JST structural steel tube can be used in construction, such as hall structure, sea trestle, airport structure, dock, security door, garage door, strengthened lining steel window and door, interior partition wall, structure of cable bridge and highway safety guard, railing, decoration, residence, decorative pipes, etc.

Packaging of Structural Steel Pipe We package our structural steel tubes with plastic plugs in both ends. We adopt hexagonal bundles of pipes (max. 2, 000 kg) with several steel strips. Two tags are on each bundle. We can also wrap products in waterproof paper, PVC sleeve and sackcloth with several steel strips.

Outside Diameter and Wall Thickness It should be in accordance with GB/T17395 standard for seamless steel tunes.
Length Hot-rolled pipe is 3 m to 12 m. Cold-rolled or cold-drawn steel pipe is 2 m to 10.5m.
Tortuosity

1.       When the wall thickness is equal to or less than 15 mm, it should mot exceed 1.5 mm/m.

2.       When the wall thickness is equal to or less than 15 mm to 30 mm, it should mot exceed 2.0 mm/m.

3.       When the wall thickness is more than 30 mm or the outside diameter is equal to or more than 351 mm, it should mot exceed 3.0 mm/m.
